Client Care Specialist

Job Description: The Client Care Specialist’s mission is to make every interaction with Camargo, the best interaction of that person’s day. By using *C A R E* this role will work to solve clients’ problems effectively and efficiently. This includes being the first line of defense on all service requests and ensuring that requests that can be handled by non-licensed staff are directed to the appropriate team member, in doing so, defending the time of our sales and service team and ensuring efficient service for clients. By being in charge of our clients’ and prospects’ first impressions of Camargo Insurance this role helps support each and every department within our organization.

*C A R E* The Client Care Specialist must CARE. They must have an innate need and desire to take care of people, including our clients and the Camargo team. CARE includes these 4 core principles. Communicate The client care specialist must be a clear and effective communicator. Attitude The client care specialist must be relentlessly positive. Resourceful The client care specialist must be resourceful. This means finding a way to get the job done, even if the solution is not immediately apparent or clearly within your scope of work. Empathy The client care specialist must have a strong sense of empathy, including the ability to put themselves in the client’s shoes, and a strong desire to make that experience the best possible.

Service Responsibilities:

  • Handle basic billing questions (where to pay, who to pay, what to pay) and work to get clients on EFT to reduce billing issues. Pass any higher-level questions to the account manager.
  • Quickly send Auto ID cards and other insurance documents requested.
  • Assist with claims – you are not expected to be a claims expert.

  • Handle basic add/remove vehicle and driver changes.
  • Handle mortgagee company updates and proof of insurance requests, in coordination with VA.
  • Handle basic inbound certifcate requests, in coordination with Virtual Assistant & Account Manager, within 2 hours.
  • Proactively work with account managers to take work from their desks that can be handled within your responsibilities.

Feedback:

  • Bi-weekly 1v1 with your manager
  • Every 90 days you will meet with your manager to review any bottlenecks, ideas you have to improve and the objectives outlined in your job description.
  • Each year you will receive a formal review.

Compensation, Benefits and Hours Client Care Specialist shall be compensated at the rate of $15.00 per hour. The position will require a commitment of a minimum of 20 hours per week. After 90 days, the Agency shall conduct a review of the Client’s Care Specialist’s performance. Upon completion of the performance review, the Agency will have the option to offer enrollment in our IRA retirement plan including a 3% employer match, as well as paid FTO. If full-time work is desired, the position can be adapted to a salaried position with benefits including major medical (fully paid by employer), vision, dental, disability, and more.
